Ok, I admit it, I’m kind of oblivious to the challenges facing truckers. But Barbara Ehrenreich’s blog post woke me a up a bit, and reminded me that a whole lot of people are being hurt in the economic downturn — and eventually, we’ll all be hurt. Can we, instead, all sit up and start paying attention? Can we ask whether we could have economic stimulus that shapes and supports the common good, rather than making millionaires richer?
