Richard Rohr and Christianity

I have been trying for years to help some of my friends who grew up in the church and have since left it, I’ve been trying to help them see that the church of their youth is not the only way to think of church. Richard Rohr does this better than anyone I know, and this brief talk is a lovely summary of the heart of his work:

Rewarding disobedience

I love this! MIT has created an award for creative disobedience. The kind of action of “being disobedient to illegitimate authority and obedient to the demands of conscience.”
